I have a new design in the shop. It's a lovebirds ornament that can be customized for a couple's first Christmas together with their names and wedding date. You can also create your own ornaments from scratch to make truly unique and personal gifts. I love making photo ornaments for friends from images I've snapped of their children or beloved pet. Get creative and make something for someone this year. ;-)
Ode to Cheerwine
I haven't had a Cheerwine in quite some time, so when I imbibed earlier this week I was impressed with the packaging design. Fun, bubbly with a nod to retro and a special detail that really caught my attention. The cherry red tab on top. Nice.
Smart Parking
Smart Cars seem to have a distinct advantage when parking is tight. I also find the design of these autos very appealing. Photo taken in Florence. ;-)
Latest signage project
The lovely ladies at Shelby-Marilee & Company hired me to design a logo and signage for their new salon location in downtown McKinney. Here is the result.
A day in the life of a designer
This wonderful silkscreen poster is from Amerikan Made Prints and celebrates the glamorous life a graphic designer. It's so funny because it's so true.
Goodbye Steve Jobs

Every day of my adult life as a graphic designer has been spent using products that Steve Jobs helped create. From the days at the College newspaper setting type on a Mac SE to typing this post on my iMac—the 7th in a line of Apple computers over the years. What a legacy he's left behind. The world will miss you.
My first book design
I just finished a collaboration with Scott Steinberg, author of the new book "Music Games Rock." It was a fun piece to work on and it's a darn fine book. It's a comprehensive history of Music Video Games and you can download a digital PDF version here for FREE. If you prefer the printed page or an interactive digital edition, they can be purchcased from the following retailers:
