Fabulous felt handmade brooches
I was just thinking about felt and then I ran across a post about these lovely handmade felt brooches on the Cafe Cartolina blog. They are the creations of Yali Paz-Gilboa and are made with felt and ultrasuede. The details are painted, sewn and embellished with embroidery floss, lace and tiny baubles.

Chalk this one up to kicking myself for not buying one. The painting in the upper left of the "El" called "Rolling Out" by artist Jeb Matulich immediately caught my eye at a local art walk recently.
