If spring hasn't already sprung in your neck of the woods you can always make some DIY tissue paper cherry blossoms. There's a great tutorial at The...Late, Young Family blog. I'm amazed at how realistic they look.

I have a couple of old sweaters that I love for sentimental reasons, but they just don't fit. I think this upcycled sweater purse may just be the ticket to making them useful. There's a complete tutorial at Lemon Squeezy on how to complete the transormation. via repurpose universe
Check out this crib upcycled into a desk. You can see the complete post on how Caz did this at her blog A Little Learning for Two. This is such an inventive idea. I really like all the creative ways people are using chalkboard paint these days. What a great activity center for little people. via flippin factory
Ez over at Creature Comforts has created a wonderful DIY tag stamp tutorial on her blog. I'm a big believer in presentation and this really adds a special touch to correspondence. She also has plenty of other ideas on how to use this technique so check out her tutorial.
Aren't these upcycled paper posies charming? These origami flowers are made from upcycled papers by Jelena Mirkov and can be found at her Etsy shop, CeruleanBird. She also makes lovely arrangements from new papers as well and custom wedding orders.
Aren't these fabric necklaces at Homako lovely? I'm especially taken with the felt and pearl creation in the top image. It's so minimalist, but intricate at the same time. Check these handmade designs and more in the Homako Etsy shop.
I've been admiring yarn and felt wreaths for a quite a while. I like that they don't necessarily look too seasonal, so you can leave them up for longer periods of time. If you're a do it yourself type of person the top three wreaths can be made with help from a tutorial at Take Heart. If on the other hand, you'd rather not get within 50 feet of a glue gun you can find some lovely wreaths for sale at itz fitz! etsy shop.
