I'm digging the Esty Shop of Barruntando in Spain. Below are images of some of my favorite pieces. The fox yarn bowl is so darn cute and so darn useful. I can think of many crafty friends who could use one of these. The hedgehog and arctic fox figurines have also captured my heart. Absolutely charming.
Artist profile | Colourful Blossom
Today I want to share Colourful Blossom by Nuby with you. Nubia Garcia is the talented artist behind this line of hand sculpted polymer clay jewelry. I'm always astounded by how much detail she can create in miniature. Here's a peak at just a few of her creations and you can see more in her Etsy shop or follow her on Facebook. We ordered some of the elephant wine glass charms as a Christmas present and now I want some for our bar too! She also does custom work if you have something unique in mind.
Upcycled Cardboard Lantern
Head over to the Etsy Blog to see step-by-step directions and photos on making upcycled cardboard lanterns by Rachel Faucett of Handmade Charlotte. I love these! I want to make a set in ruby and purple with copper paint for a moroccan feel.
Second time around at Twice
Things are sometimes slow to pop up on my radar — like Twice for instance. It's a site selling brand name merchandise that's been gently worn. In addition to buying great merchandise, you can clean out your own closet and earn some bucks by selling items you never wear. We all have at least one item still sporting tags in our wardrobe now don't we?
Handmade Wreaths
Tis the season to decorate the door with a wreath and here are four of my handmade favs from Etsy shops.
1. Seashell Holiday Wreath @ DesignsbyMJL 2. Paper Rose & Hydrangea Wreath @ AnthologyOnMain 3. Winter Whisper Wreath @ WillowgaleDesigns 4. Primitive Americana @ Designwreath
Upcycled Alphabet Books
My friend Holly took me to a giant antiques and such show a few months back and we loved this clever reuse of some old books. Now generally I'm not a fan of defacing a book, but I could see around this if some pages were missing it the content was awful or sleep-inducing. Basically you just use a bandsaw to cut the shape of the alphabet letter you'd like to create.
Edible Feathers
These edible vanilla candy feathers by andiespecialtysweets are lovely. You can request a custom color and they're sold in sets of 12. Their recipe uses organic and fair trade ingredients, with no hydrogenated or fractionated oils. Check out their entire etsy shop for every kind of edible object imaginable.
