April 1st always puts me a little on edge — waiting for some crazy April Fool's shenanigans, but thankfully the day passed with no surprises. This anxiety goes back to a prank someone once pulled on a friend that went horribly wrong. So now that it's safely April 2nd, we can just applaud the birthstone for this month — the diamond.
