I love the hardware kits that GreatBottlesofFire sells to turn wine bottles into tiki torches. How clever!
Sit 'n store
Me wanty. I'm always needing storage and some extra seating so this ottoman would be the perfect solution. Plus, it's my favorite shade of blue.
Lamp Love
These lampshades made with pierced wood over a cloth base are stunning. They are the creations of Nadine Fliegen and Andrea Steckner at the Min-Jon shop on Etsy.
Idea Board
I scored a fantastic deal yesterday. This bulletin board was on clearance at World Market and i fell in love. Currently I've been taping bits and pieces of inspiration directly on my studio wall. This is much, much better and way more stylin' than a traditional bulletin board.
Sleep masks
I think I need to purchase a sleep mask. After staying up to usher in the New Year and sleeping till nearly noon yesterday, I found myself awake all last night tossing and turning. The faint glow from the alarm clock seemed like headlights illuminating the room.
Here are some of my favs on Etsy:
1. Silk Devilry eye mask @ LoveBabyGrand
2. Charcoal Damask eye mask @ oddsnblobs
3. French lavender aromatherapy cat eye mask @ Naomilingerie
Beautiful sewing cabinet refresh
Take a look at this gorgeous sewing cabinet refresh by Betsy Speert. I especially like the ruler stencil she used on the top and you can see the nitty gritty of how she did it on her blog. I've been searching for a new sewing box—the one I've had since I was nine years old bit the dust in our last move. I nearly cried. Now I'm thinking that upgrading to sewing cabinet is worth exploring after seeing Betsy's creation.
