I know I've been a bad blogger lately. There are a number of projects and new clients keeping me busy for which I'm very grateful. I did carve out some time to work on a new wedding collection idea that's been in my mind for weeks. It's somewhere between art deco and mid century modern. Clean, geometric lines and a simple black and white palette.
I'm digging the Esty Shop of Barruntando in Spain. Below are images of some of my favorite pieces. The fox yarn bowl is so darn cute and so darn useful. I can think of many crafty friends who could use one of these. The hedgehog and arctic fox figurines have also captured my heart. Absolutely charming.
The winter weather of the past few days has me longing for Spring. With that in mind this floral geometric wedding suite was born. Cheery cherry blossoms in pink and simple wording set a modern tone. Today I want to share Colourful Blossom by Nuby with you. Nubia Garcia is the talented artist behind this line of hand sculpted polymer clay jewelry. I'm always astounded by how much detail she can create in miniature. Here's a peak at just a few of her creations and you can see more in her Etsy shop or follow her on Facebook. We ordered some of the elephant wine glass charms as a Christmas present and now I want some for our bar too! She also does custom work if you have something unique in mind.
Affinity has released a new photo editing App for the Mac and the buzz is that is a viable alternative to Photoshop. I'm glad to hear it, because the Adobe "Cloud" service is getting very expensive at over $50 a pop monthly and they need some healthy competition. Right now they offering a FREE beta download.
