It's been rainy and gloomy for nearly a week on studio work days and so I've been hard pressed to have enough light for photography. Natural light is my preferred source when shooting products so that they look as true to life as possible. This morning dawned bright and clear and so shooting these lovely coin pearl earrings for the Nan Lee Jewelry online shop was finally accomplished. I love this particular style with the tiny champagne crystal embellishment.
A Tuscan Wedding
One of my favorite photographers — Danielle M. Sabol — recently completed a shoot featured on the blog Wedding Sparrow for which she borrowed jewelry from one of my clients — Nan Lee Jewelry. I love seeing collaborations come to fruition.
The textures of the holidays
The town is starting to put on its holiday clothes and I love the sparkle and texture. These are few of my favorite snaps from last week.
The Collage Collection
This week I've been working with pieces from Shelli Hoggarth's latest designs called the "Collage Collection." I really enjoy minimalist styling and waiting for the natural light to reach its peak before shooting. All of the pieces are available in gold, rose gold or sterling silver at Nan Lee Jewelry. I fell head over heels for the rose gold and it's now my favorite go-to piece.
Gathering pretty things
I've been busy gathering pretty things from Nan Lee Jewelry to style and photograph for their website. I'll be posting the gorgeous collage collection by designer Shelli Hogarth later this week.
The Carousel
I love the carousel that appears whenever a festival is taking place. Anyone feel like taking a spin?
